MokiMobility Raises $2M in Seed Funding

MokiMobility, a Salt Lake City, Utah-based start-up that provides a platform for managing, monitoring and securing tablets and smartphones including mobile point-of-sale devices, raised $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Epic Ventures, with participation from individual investors Spencer Tall, Partner at Allegis Capital and Tyler Smith at Fusion-IO.

Led by Tom Karren, CEO, MokiMobility provides a cloud-based platform for managing, monitoring and securing mobile point-of-sale and other mobile solutions for retail, restaurant and hospitality markets.
Independent software vendors (ISVs) and solution providers can integrate the management and monitoring features of MokiManage into their own tablet solutions running on the iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices.
