VoloMetrix, a Seattle, WA-based enterprise SaaS company providing Social Enterprise Intelligence applications to improve organizational productivity, raised $3.3m in a Series A financing.
The round was led by Shasta Ventures.
The company, which had raised $1.6m in April 2012 (read here), intends to use the funds to accelerate development of its platform, add new markets, and expand further into organizational functions – including IT departments – to grow its existing customer base. As part of the growth plan, VoloMetrix is hiring for positions in engineering, data science, sales and marketing (read here).
Led by CEO and co-founder Ryan Fuller, the company provides a social enterprise intelligence platform that extracts and analyzes anonymous data from collaboration applications including email, calendars, instant messaging, and enterprise social networks, to enable customers to understand and manage where people and teams are focused, where collaboration can improve across the organization, and which important business topics need a response.
