Alarm.com, a Vienna, VA-based provider of interactive security and connected home services, acquired EnergyHub, a NYC-based provider of demand response and energy efficiency products and services for energy utilities, service providers, and end users.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Led by its founder and President, Seth Frader-Thompson, EnergyHub has developed and deployed Mercury, a comprehensive software platform for enabling rapid deployment of demand response and energy efficiency programs that combine engaging customer applications with program management services.
Following the transaction, the company will continue to operate as an independent company, led by Frader-Thompson and the existing management team, as well as to expand its customer base and further develop its services platform.
Led by CEO Steve Trundle Alarm.com provides a large connected home platform, offering services including interactive security, video monitoring, energy management and home automation.
