Conversocial, a New York and London-based provider of a social customer service, closed a $4.4m Series A2 funding.
The round, which includes a $3.2m investment, in addition to $1.2m from a previous convertible note, was led by Octopus Investments.
The company intends to use the funding for product development, hiring people, and expansione of its presence in North America.
Led by Joshua March, CEO, Conversocial provides a software-as-a-Service solution to manage the flow of customer service enquiries and discussions on Facebook and Twitter.
Clients include companies and organizations such as American Greetings, Barclaycard, Charity USA, Groupon, Hertz, Net-A-Porter, Ogilvy, Sephora, Tesco, The University of Phoenix, Tupperware, GoDaddy, JackThreads, Waitrose, and Vitalicious.
