Artificial Solutions, a developer of a natural language interaction (NLI) platform designed to enable users to have a humanlike interaction with technology, raised $9.4m (approximately €7.3m), in its third round of funding.
The round was led by Scope.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into the US and further develop its solutions.
Led by Lawrence Flynn, CEO, Artificial Solutions has developed a device, operating system and language independent NLI platform – called Teneo™ (Latin meaning “to understand”) which enables people to hold two-way meaningful conversations with applications and services running on computers, mobile technology and other electronic devices in a humanlike manner.
Typically deployed as web-based Virtual Assistants for customer service and sales, and as embedded speech-enabled applications for mobile computing, the company’s NLI technology is available in 21 languages and includes analytics that deliver insight into customers’ needs and behavior.
Artificial Solutions has development centers in Barcelona, Hamburg, London and Stockholm and offices across Europe, Asia-Pacific and South America.
Both private and public sector organizations including Agria, Banca Sella, Credit Suisse, IKEA, Vodafone, The Cooperative Banking Group, Telenor and The Swedish Social Insurance Agency have used the service.
The company has offices in Sweden, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and South America and a network of international partners.
