Artisan Mobile, a Philadelphia, PA-based developer of a Mobile Experience Management (MEM) platform, raised $5.5m in Series A financing.
The round was led by FirstMark Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Amish Jani, Managing Director of FirstMark Capital, will join Artisan’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the capital to expand sales and marketing efforts as well as accelerate product development.
Led by Bob Moul, CEO, Artisan recently released Artisan Optimize, which enables real-time changes to the design and user experience of native mobile applications without re-writing code or re-submitting to app stores. It allows non-technical customers such as marketers, designers and product managers to make dynamic updates, conduct A/B tests, and optimize designs quickly.
The company will soon release enhancements to Artisan Optimize, as well as additional products on its MEM platform, including Artisan Create, Artisan Analyze, and Artisan Personalize.
