Content Raven, a Marlborough, MA-based content security company that provides enterprises with solutions to control over their intellectual property as it is being shared externally, raised $2m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Mass Ventures alongside AIF, Beta Fund, eCoast Angels, Hub Angels, LaunchPad, Sidecar Angels and individual investors.
The company intends to use the capital to expand its marketing efforts to drive greater user adoption across both consumer and B2B markets.
Led by Ron Matros, CEO, Content Raven provides a solution that enables users to share and track rich media, video, and other critical documents across any device, including mobile. It also offers analytics that show senders who sees their content and how it is being used. Enterprises can also track the geographic location of viewers, the frequency of views, duration of each view, and even the type of device it is viewed on.
Customers include organizations across a wide range of industries, including investment firms, municipalities, athletic teams, and healthcare companies, as well as by major enterprises.
