Panzura, a Campbell, Calif.-based provider of cloud storage solutions, raised an additional funding from SanDisk Ventures.
The deal, whose amount was not disclosed, adds to the recently closed $25m Series D funding (read here).
Led by Randy Chou, CEO and co-founder, Panzura provides flash-based network attached storage (NAS) solutions for enterprise companies. Its offering uses flash memory to store data off-premise in the “cloud”, promising to reduce customer system, support, administration, power and cooling costs.
Commenting on the financing, Chou said: “SanDisk’s technical expertise and market presence will be invaluable as we continue our focus on growing our business in the cloud storage controller market“.
