According to Il Sole 24 Ore (read here), ProxToMe, an Italian startup that provides an app to discover people nearby and share digital content in real-time, raised $700k in funding.
Backers included angels from angel network Iag (Italian Angels for Growth) and other Italy- and Silicon Valley-based private investors.
Led by CEO Carlo Capello and CTO Andrea Motto, ProxToMe aims to help users discover people nearby and share digital content with them in real-time leveraging a proprietary “proximity engine”.
