Audiodraft, a San Francisco, CA- and Helsonki, Finland-based crowdsourcing platform for sound and music, raised $400k in funding.
Backers included 500 Startups and Promus Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand in the US market and hire new people.
Co-Founded by Teemu Yli-Hollo, CEO, Arto Tolonen, CTO, and Tommi Koskinen, Audiodraft helps companies outsource their music and audio production to a global community of sound designers and music composers.
It is now offering its global audio production platform in form of an agency studio, which provides users with tools to manage their current productions, source new sounds from the community, control how many sound designers and composers they work with.
The company also added advisors including Sean McCullough, Yee Lee, Thomas Ryan and Sami Inkinen.
