Centaur Technologies, a Leyland, UK-based developer of liquid roofing systems, raised £750k in funding.
Backers included The North West Fund for Venture Capital (£500k) and Lancashire’s Rosebud Fund (£250k), both of which are managed by Enterprise Ventures.
Launched by former directors of Liquid Plastics in Preston, Jeremy Gorick, Phil Richardson and Bob Stanfield, Centaur Technologies has produced a range of innovative systems for treating both new and existing roofs, which – according to a written note – offer benefits over existing products in terms of greater usability, lower cost and reduced environmental impact.
David Gill, the former Senior Partner of Moore & Smalley, is Non-Executive Director of the company.
