Cubresa Inc., a Winnipeg, Canada-based medical imaging company building a hand-held, MR-safe gamma camera, closed a $500k funding.
Backers included the Manitoba Knights, a Winnipeg-based group of angels and super angels.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow the business and expand market opportunities.
Led by James Schellenberg, founder and CEO, Cubresa develops patented solutions for surgical oncology, breast imaging, pre-clinical imaging, and IGRT.
The company is in the Manitoba Technology Accelerator program.
