Expect Labs, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an anticipatory Computing platform, received an investiment of undisclosed amount.
Liberty Global Ventures and IDG Ventures USA joined existing investors Google, Intel, Samsung, and Telefónica.
The company intends to use the funds to extend its platform to enable new types of context-aware, predictive intelligence in a wide variety of applications and devices.
Founded in 2011 by Timothy Tuttle, CEO, Expect Labs provides a technology platform, the Anticipatory Computing Engine, designed to analyze and understand conversations in real-time, and proactively find related information. The company has created the iPad app MindMeld, which is an intelligent assistant that can understand conversations in real-time to allow users to find and share related information as people talk.
