Intelligent Mechatronic Systems Inc., a Waterloo, Ontario, Canada-based technology company focused on connected car technology, received a $4m debt financing from Toronto-based BEST Funds.
The investment will allow IMS to further develop solutions in vehicle safety and intelligence through a continued focus on research and development.
Led by Dr. Otman Basir, CEO and President, Intelligent Mechatronic Systems is a developer of telematics and infotainment technologies for the intelligent Connected Car™ solution, which allows drivers to access location-based information and online content while on the road.
IMS was founded in 1999.
