Olapic, a Cordoba, Argentina- and NYC-based provider of a SaaS product that allows brands to leverage user-generated photos/videos to increase e-commerce conversion, closed a $5m Series A funding.
The round was led by Fung Capital USA and Longworth Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Great Oaks and Scout Ventures.
Co-founded by Pau Sabria and Luis Sanz, Olapic is a visual commerce platform for collecting, curating, showcasing and measuring crowd sourced photos and videos. The platform leverages photos and videos from Instagram, Twitter, Facebook to provides e-commerce retailers, brands and publishers with tools to engage their customers and to allow consumers to make more educated purchasing decisions, discover new products, and connect to the brand’s community.
Customers include Alex and Ani, Desigual, Equipment, New Balance, Teva, Vineyard Vines and Westward Leaning among others.
