According to reports, 1Mind, a Hampton, New Hampshire-based social discovery app, raised $500k in funding.
1Mind’s web site lists 10X Venture Partners (which announced an investment in the startup at the end of May), eCoast Angels Network and HardGamma Ventures among the investors.
Founded in March 2011 by Derek Dodge, 1Mind has just launched its social discovery app that allows users to discover new friends and share with like minded people in their natural communities. It also features games where users express themselves, their interests, and their preferences.
The app is available on Android and iPhone.
