Audax Health Raises $20M in Series B Funding

Audax Health, a Washington, DC-based and San Francisco, CA-based digital health company, raised $20m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Navigy Holdings, Inc., with participation from current board member Jack Rowe and Dan Rose, VP of Partnerships at Facebook, among others.

The company intends to use the new capital for product development, expansions of its mobile and engineering teams in D.C. and San Francisco, and strategic partnerships with healthcare insurers and providers.

Founded in 2010 by Grant Verstandig, CEO, Audax Health operates Zensey, a digital health platform that creates a personalized lifestyle plan for users, allowing them to connect and compete with others like them, track progress towards goals, and earn rewards.
The company has developed partnerships with healthcare insurers and providers including Cigna and ValueOptions.

To date, Audax Health has raised more than $35m in funding from Cigna, Cardinal Health, and New Leaf Ventures.
