Business Texter, a Spokane, Wash.-based startup that builds and markets smart-phone applications that allows organization to engage people through text messaging (SMS), raised $250K in new funding.
The round was led by Frontier Angel Fund (Kalispell MT), with participation from the Boise Angel Alliance via the Treasure Valley Angel Fund and several other angel investors.
Led by CEO Aaron Rollins and CTO David Johnston, Business Texter provides an Android text app that allows businesses to engage customers in Q&A, feedback and customer service, as well as marketing and sales functions. It enables group texting, automated replies and other features.
In less than three months, the Business Texter app has been downloaded over 1,500 times and used to send over 600,000 texts.
