Local Motion, a Burlingame, CA-based provider of car sharing and mobility management technologies, raised $6m in Series A financing.
The backer was Andreessen Horowitz and Steven Sinofsky joined Local Motion’s board.
The company intends now to use the funds to expand operations (they are hiring).
Founded by John Stanfield and Clement Gires, Local Motion provides a cloud-based platform to control real-time activity and maintenance needs of fleets
Clients includes Google and the City of Sacramento, among others.
