PriceGrabber Acquires Snapette

PriceGrabber, an ecommerce platform and shopping site, has acquired Snapette, a Los Angeles, Calif.-based, venture-backed provider of a fashion shopping app.

The amount and the terms of the transaction was not disclosed.

According to Jeff Goldstein, president of PriceGrabber, the acquisition will help the company expand its platform in the mobile arena.
Los Angeles, CA-based PriceGrabber is a distributed ecommerce platform and shopping site that connects shoppers with merchants and sellers. It is a unit of CPL Holdings LLC, with operations across North and South America and in the United Kingdom.

Co-Founded byPresident Sarah Paiji and Jinhee Ahn Kim, Snapette gives consumers mobile access to information on nearby fashion products, stores and sales. The mobile app is free of charge and available on iOS and Android in 8 languages. It currently has over 1.5 million users and has partnered with over 200 brands and retailers in the top fashion cities worldwide.
