RebelMouse, a NYC-based social website platform, closed $10.25m in Series A financing.
Backers included Oak Investment Partners, SoftBank, Sterling Investment Partners and Michael Lazerow.
RebelMouse said that it has named Jarrod Dicker as managing director of commercial product and operations, Andrea Harrison, who will lead platform marketing and Jake Beckman as a partner accelerator.
Founded by CEO Paul Berry, RebelMouse is a service that allowing users to pull their content together from across social networks. The platform is being used by a diverse audience and set of verticals and markets. It is used by bloggers, brands and media companies such as PBS and Mashable, TV networks like Fox, SyFY, Bravo, AOL, USA Networks and ProSieben.
The company had raised its 2.5m seed funding in 2010 (read here).
