RingCentral Files For IPO

RingCentral, Inc., a San Matero, CA-based provider of cloud business communications solutions, has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.

Led by Vlad Shmunis, CEO, Founder and Chairman of the Board, RingCentral provides cloud business communications solutions (voice, fax, and text) for distributed and mobile workforces to over 300,000 customers. It is backed by Sequoia Capital, Khosla Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, Cisco Systems, DAG Ventures and Hermes Growth Partners.

Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and BofA Merrill Lynch are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering, and Allen & Company LLC and Raymond James are acting as co-managers.
