Roadtrippers, a web-based company that allows travelers to plan road trips, raised a vc funding of undisclosed amount.
Drive Capital made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand nationally and internationally.
Led by James Fisher, founder and CEO, Roadtrippers has developed a web-based software application that allows travelers to map routes, book hotels, identify deals, and research special events in and around their destination while calculating approximate trip mileage, travel time, and fuel costs.
Launched in July 2012, it has 825,000 unique visitors per month.
