The Runthrough Closes $1.2M Seed Funding

-

The Runthrough, a New York-based online hub that connects designers and brands with fashion media, closed its $1.2m seed funding.

The round was led by the New York Angels, with participation from Elsa Berry (founder and managing director of Vendôme Global Partners), Karen Harvey (Karen Harvey Consulting), and Paul Sethi.

The company is using the capital to hire new people and expand its infrastructure.

Founded in 2011 by Meggan Crum and Mandy Tang, The Runthrough offers a members-only platform that enables designers and brands to upload their collections and editors to request samples and images.
The site currently features 100 established and emerging designers and over 400 editors and publications such as Vogue, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.
