Cinemacraft, a provider of an interactive media monetization platform, raised $1.5m in funding.
Backers included MediaCamp (Turner Broadcasting), NTT DoCoMo and existing investor 500 Startups.
Led by Sandeep Casi, Founder & CEO, Kevin Gould, VP, Business Development, and Hiroyuki Fukuhara, Founding VP of Video Engineering, Cinemacraft provides videogram, a pictorial summary of a video. It allows to automatically analyze videos (based on color, features, etc.) and represent them with different-sized keyframes like a comic book allowing for a quick overview.
The company also provides third parties with an API to deploy their own innovative media solutions from Cinemacraft’s cloud.
Cinemacraft has offices in Tokyo, Japan and Mountain View and Los Angeles, CA.
