Jumpstarter, a Stockholm, Sweden-based productivity tool for developers, raised $1.7m in funding.
Backers included Earlybird Venture Capital, Paua Ventures and business angel Martin Sinner.
The company intends to use the funds to improve its solution and expand to the US, where it ha an office in San Francisco, CA, and other markets.
Led by CEO Per Jonsson and Hannes Landeholm, Jumpstarter launched the private beta of its platform that allows users to install frameworks easily, set up new servers, collaborate on source code using git and scale web applications. It currently supports WordPress, Drupal, Magento, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, OpenCart, Joomla, Concrete5, Kohana, phpBB, and Symfony.
