Qstream, a Burlington, MA-based provider of mobile sales enablement and analytics platform, completed a $2.85m Series A funding.
The round was led by Frontline Ventures, with participation from existing investor Launchpad Venture Group and other individual investors. In conjunction with the funding, Shay Garvey, co-founder of Frontline Ventures, will join Qstream’s board.
The company, which has now raised $4.4m, including $1.55m in seed funding, intends to use the capital to accelerate sales and marketing of its SaaS solution in North America and Europe.
Led by Duncan Lennox, CEO and co-founder, Qstream provides a sales enablement platform that leverages mobile technology, gamification, data and analytics to allow reps to add value in the selling process. Developed at Harvard, Qstream captures dynamic data on the capabilities of every rep, every day, by engaging users in scenario-based challenges delivered to their mobile device. An analytics engine captures critical data points and transforms them into actionable insights, such as identifying opportunities for tailored coaching.
To date, the platform has delivered more than 180 million questions in nine languages to sales reps and others for product launch support, competitive threat management and response, and strategic business initiatives.
Customers include top brands in life sciences, technology and financial services including Genentech, Boehringer Ingelheim, Intuitive Surgical, Oracle, SunGard, Rackspace and SunTrust.
The company also has development offices in Oregon and Dublin, Ireland.
