ReadyDock, Inc., a West Hartford, Conn.-based developer of modular technology for secure storage, charging and disinfecting of computer tablet devices, received a $200k follow-on investment from Connecticut Innovations (CI).
Led by David Engelhardt, founder and president, ReadyDock recently launched its hardware and software platform that provides secure storage, charging and chemical-free disinfection of iPads and TabletPCs. The technology is used in hospitals, laboratories and anywhere bacterial infection is a risk (schools, restaurants, etc.).
The company had previously received a $300k investment from the Pre-Seed Fund and from an unnamed investor (read here).
