Wishabi, a Toronto and New York-based platform for retailers to deliver hyper-local, hyper-personal flyers to current and prospective customers, raised $15m in Series B financing.
The backer was Insight Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate the development and deployment of new technology and for growth in the U.S. market.
Founded in 2007 and led by Wehuns Tan, CEO, Wishabi integrates with retailer databases to distribute circulars direct to consumers and through premium media partners – including MSN, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times and CBS, on a range of digital devices.
Wishabi is used by retailers including Macy’s, PetSmart, Sports Authority and Dollar General.
