Azullo, a Lancaster, UK-based advertising software company, secured a six-figure investment from Rosebud Fund, managed by Enterprise Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop the market for its advertising platform.
Launched in 2009 by Guy Cookson and Andrew Dobson, Azullo has developed Respond, an online advertising platform that supports “native advertising” and helps publishers improve the effectiveness of ad campaigns by solving the problem of ‘banner blindness’, which results in people often ignoring online adverts. Respond campaigns are integrated into the design of each website, so visitors can engage with advertisers without interrupting content reading. It also uses responsive design, so ads can be displayed across all devices, including mobiles and tablets.
