Boxer, an Austin, Texas-based provider of an innovative mobile inbox, raised $3m in seed funding.
The round was led by Sutter Hill Ventures.
Founded in 2012 by CEO Andrew Eye and CTO Adam Cianfichi, and also led by VP of Engineering Ian Ragsdale and VP of Product Timothy Sullivan, Boxer extends the standard mobile mail experience through an open integration platform. Features include:
Swipe to archive, trash, spam, cloud attachments, push notification, calendar integration, gmail labels, smart folders, profile pictures, contact integration, todo list, Email “Likes”, and dashboard.
The startup has already integrated with Box, Dropbox, LinkedIn, and Facebook in 2013, and additional strategic partnerships are expected to be announced in Q4.
