London, UK-based investor Environmental Technologies Fund held the first closing of its second fund at £60m (approximately €70m/US$100m).
Investors included existing investors such as the European Investment Fund (EIF) and a number of European pension funds, financial institutions, corporate investors and family offices.
Environmental Technologies Fund focuses on investing in growing private companies that have the potential to deliver big environmental benefits at a global level by deploying innovative technologies and solutions enabling a more efficient use of existing resources such as energy, water and other natural resources.
