Reclamador.es, a Madrid, Spain-based startup that operates a customers claims management platform, closed a €500k funding.
Backers included Cabiedes & Partners, the investors’ network Faraday, Making Ideas Business, Semilla Expiga and Tegsa, Noelia Fernández Arroyo (VP Media Network – Yahoo EMEA), René de Jong (Internet Advantage), Andoni Alfaro (Godwana Experiences CEO), Nacho de Pinedo (ISDI CEO), Rodrigo Miranda (internetAcademi general manager), Rafael Pérez-Olivares, Gonzalo Ruiz (through Canguro Inversiones and Civeta Investment), Javier Añorga, Alvaro Azcárraga, Francois Derbaix (Toprural, Soysuper), Miguel Arias and Miguel Fernández-Lapique (Imaste).
The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its presence in Spain and expand to other sectors such as telecommunications and banking beyond airlines.
Founded by Pablo Rabanal, Reclamador provides a “crowdcomplaining” platform to manage collective customers claims to airline companies charging a success fee to consumers for delays, baggage lost or damaged. It has more than 5,000 customers.
The company had raised an initial €100k in early 2013.
