SolarVista Media Co., Ltd., a Beijing, China-based startup that uses patented DCP digital billboard technology to enable traditional outdoor media to have digital and network capabilities, raised a Series D venture capital funding.
The amount of the round was not disclosed.
Nokia Growth Partners, which led the round, and China Ease Management joined existing investors Northern Light VC, Tuspark Ventures, FnH, among others.
The company intends to use the funds to roll out its patented Dynamic Color Pixel (DCP) digital billboards, which use CMY color principle and reflective lights to form billboard images.
Led by Brian Kam, CEO, SolarVista Media provides DCP billboards that run on natural light to change images electronically with no plastic waste when campaigns change.
It currently own a billboard network active in 17 large Chinese cities including Shanghai and Beijing.
