Teads, a French provider of video advertising solutions, raised €4m in funding.
Backers included Partech Ventures and Elaia Partners. Pascal Gauthier, former COO de Criteo, joined Teads’ board.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its international presence.
Founded in 2011 by Loïc Soubeyrand, Loïc Jaurès and Olivier Reynaud, Teads provides premium publishers with innovative video ad formats (inRead™, inFeed™ or inPicture™) to monetize their digital content.
Publishers in the network include Le Monde, Le Figaro, Financial Times, Forbes, The Economist, The Guardian, El Mundo, La Repubblica, Reuters, Yahoo!, AdVideum, Horyzon Media, Hi-Media etc.
The company currently has 30 employees in offices in Montpellier, Paris, London, New York, Sydney and Paris.
