Marco Zamperini, an Italian Internet pioneer and a tech evangelist, died on October 13th, 2013.
Zamperini, 50, nicknamed “Funky Professor“, was an IT veteran, a professor at IULM, a blogger. He was CIO at NTT Data Europe and a strong supporter of “Agenda Digitale”.
His wife Paola Sucato announced the death through a short message on Facebook. According to the first news, Zamperini died for natural causes.
He was survived by his wife and two daughters.
