Telepath, a Salford, UK-based developer of fleet management software, raised £500k in funding.
The North West Fund for Venture Capital, managed by Enterprise Ventures (EV), made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its presence in the UK market.
Established in 2011 by Carolanne Hurley, Telepath provides software that allows operators to analyze and improve the efficiency of their large fleets.
Telemetrics is a reporting tool that uses tracking data to display information about vehicle usage, driver behaviour and working patterns and also translates data from others’ telematics products. In addition, the company provides other solutions for visual tracking of fleets, assets and personnel, and a consultancy service.
As part of the investment, Telepath has appointed Jonathan Firth as Non-Executive Chairman.
