Elihuu, a Denver, CO- and Oakland, Calif.-based developer of a platform that connects product designers with manufacturers, raised $30k in funding.
Backers included a group of University of Colorado Boulder graduate students via the Deming Center Venture Fund (DCVF).
The company intends to use the funds to develop and expand its tool.
Led by Dorian Ferlauto, founder and CEO, and Alex Henry, CDO, Elihuu provides an online software platform that connects product designers with manufacturers who can make their wares. The solution aims to streamline the platform to organize multiple RFQs (request for quotes), manage digital design assets, customize shipping, and provide payment.
The company supports the “makers movement”, which is comprised of people like artisans, techies and inventors who create small-scale products on their own.
It is currently hiring.
