TCAS Online Limited, a Dublin, Ireland-based provider of student accommodation management software, raised €650k in funding.
The investment includes a €250k investment by Kernel Capital (through the Bank of Ireland Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund) with the remainder of the funds provided by Enterprise Ireland and private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to grow globally and to further enhance product offering.
Led by Barry Murphy, CEO, TCAS have developed an online platform which enables customers to streamline and manage all operational aspects of student accommodation, resulting in higher occupancy rates.
Customers include UCD, DCU, NUIG, WIT and UK accommodation providers Fresh Student Living and CRM Students. and the company is currently expanding into the Asian market. In addition, it recently closed a deal with one Malaysia’s Taylor’s University.
