EBlink, a Boussy-Saint-Antoine, France-based wireless fronthaul developer, raised €2.8m in financing.
Backers included Bpifrance, 360 Capital Partner, Seventure Partners, I Source Gestion and co-founders M. Alain Rolland and Christian Bittar.
The company intends to use the funds to introduce its new Wireless Fronthaul techology on the international market.
Led by Bittar, Managing Director, EBlink provides wireless “FrontLink” systems to enable faster deployment of 3G, 4G and future 5G networks.
The technology supports multi-giga bit connections and can serve as an extension to fiber optic to allow operators to support the growth in traffic due to the soaring use of smart phones and tablets.
Since its creation in 2005, the company has raised over €20m.
