PeerTransfer, a Boston, MA- and Valencia, Spain-based tuition payment service, raised $6.2m in a Series B-1 funding.
According to reports, investors included Spark Capital, QED Investors, Devonshire Investors, Kibo Ventures and FIDES.

Founded in by Iker Marcaide, peerTransfer develops innovative global payment solutions for the education industry helping international students and schools from all over the world save time and money when making or receiving international payments.
The company, which has 41 employees and is continuing to hire, supports over 45 currencies servicing and over 350 schools internationally. It has accepted payments from 190 countries.
