Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) is acquiring Little Eye Labs, a Bangalore, India-based startup that builds mobile app analysis tools for app developers and testers.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Founded about a year ago and backed by GSF and VenturEast Tenet Fund, Little Eye Labs builds tools for Android developers to measure, analyze, and optimize their app’s performance.
According to a blog post (read here), Following the transaction, the Little Eye Labs team (Kumar Rangarajan, Satyam Kandula, Lakshman Kakkirala, Giridhar Murthy, Aditya Kulkarni, Gaurav Lochan and Srikant Sahay) will move to Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California to help improve performance of their apps by building analysis tools.
