Heyday, a San Francisco, CA-based creator of a photo journal app for the iOS platform, has just launched with $2m in seed funding.
According to PeHub (read here), the funds were raised in July 2012.
Backers included CrunchFund, Google Ventures, TriplePoint Capital, Spark Capital, SV Angel and angels Keith Rabois, Shervin Pishevar, Matt Ocko, Garry Tan, Kevin Chou, Robin Chan, Joel Poloney, Eric Ries, Amitt Mahajan, David Spector, Saad Khan, Ben Narasin, Charles Moldow and Roy Sehgal.
Co-founded by Siqi Chen, CEO, Alex Le, vice president of product, Heyday transforms all of the memories, places, and people already on the iPhone or iPod touch, and crafts them into a journal that gives users a way to rediscover memories. It features more than 50 collage layouts and 18 photo filters.
