Relatient, LLC, a Franklin (Tennessee)-based healthcare software and services company, raised its first round of venture capital financing.
The round – of undisclosed amount – was led by Jim Sohr, with participation from an undisclosed private, Nashville-based HCIT investor and Nashville’s serial entrepreneur Joe Storey.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its sales force, accelerate the product roadmap, and maintain excellence in support services.
Co-founded in 2010 by Sam Johnson, President and CEO, and Kevin Montgomery, Relatient provides medical practices, hospitals, employers, and ACOs, with web-based patient relationship management & engagement technology. It features tools to facilitate accountable Care & PCMH communication. It works with any EHR/PM database and provides custom phone, e-mail, text and mobile messages.
