SanJet Technology Corp., a digital image solution provider in greater China, received a vc investment from Intel Capital.
The amount of the investment, which was made with funding from the $100m Intel Capital Connected Car Fund, was not disclosed.
The funds will support the development of the company’s applications for wearable and vehicle devices including full HD video, wide angle views and wireless features.
Led by Steve Liao, chairman and chief executive officer, SanJet designs and manufactures a range of portable digital video recorders including dashboard DVRs (digital video recorders), action cameras, IP cameras, and wearable cameras.
The company, which also develops Wi-Fi communication, wide-angle with high resolution, witness and hands-free camera products, has an R&D and operation center at Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, and a manufacturing center in Wujiang, Suzhou, China.
