ThisCLICKS, a Saint Paul, Minnesota-based mobile technology company that specializes in cloud labor management software, received $4m in Series A funding.
Backers included E.ventures, Greycroft and Arthur Ventures.
The company intends to use the funding to add employees, accelerate product development (expanding its current offerings, and developing tablet versions of When I Work and WageBase for Android and iPad) and customer acquisition.
Founded in 2010 by CEO Chad Halvorson, ThisCLICKS offers two mobile and smart business software products:
– When I Work, a mobile-focused platform for businesses to schedule and communicate with their workers, and
– WageBase, which uses mobile technology to track time, attendance and payroll for hourly employees.
3,000 companies worldwide — including The UPS Store, Aspen Snowmass, 1-800-GOT-JUNK, and SoundCloud — representing a total of 200,000 employees, are using the two products in the US, Canada, UK, Europe and Australia.
