Silicon Valley-based investment firm 500 Startups is launching a monthly speaker/meetup series to bring together members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) tech community.
Organized in partnership with StartOut, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating great business leaders by fostering Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender entrepreneurs, and Galvanize, a tech entrepreneurial eco-system that incorporates capital, curriculum, and community, Rainbow Round will allow LGBT founders, employees, investors, and others to give inspiring talks about tech.
Kortney Ryan Ziegler, founder of Transh4ck, is the inaugural Rainbow Round speaker (on 19th March, 2014, San Francisco, CA). Following his thirty minute talk, there will be drinks, food, and networking.
