Laser Wire Solutions, an Abertillery, Wales, UK-based developer of hi-tech laser wire stripping products, raised £275k in equity funding.
Backers included Finance Wales (£125k) and angel investors from Xenos (Wales Business Angel Network) and from the South West Angel and Investor Network (Swain).
Led by Managing director Paul Taylor, Laser Wire Solutions to address all wire insulation stripping needs for all wire and cable constructions.
The company intends to use the funds to commercialize its products, develop its technology, expand sales and marketing efforts and recruit new sales and engineering people.
