NuoDB, Inc., a Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA-based provider of distributed database technology, closed $14.2m in funding.
Global Software provider Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) joined Morgenthaler Ventures, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Longworth Venture Partners.
The company has now raised $26.2m.
Founded in 2010 by Barry Morris, CEO, and database architect Jim Starkey, NuoDB provides businesses with a distributed database management system to solve these problems to deploy applications, maintain business continuity and grant performance.
Its database is deployed in multiple locations simultaneously.
Customers include automotive after-market giant AutoZone, Zombie Studios, DropShip Commerce, and other innovative organizations.
