SoshiGames, a Birmingham, UK-based, music-themed mobile gaming provider, raised over £285K in funding.
Backers included early-stage VC firm Midven and a crowd of investors via the equity crowdfunding platform SyndicateRoom.
Led by Cliff Dennett, CEO, SoshiGames build game-based services for music rights owners to earn money and reach new customers.
The service, which has 750,000 installed users, has teamed up with a number of partners, including the Isle of Wight festival, Metal Hammer Magazine, Raw Power Management, the heavy metal band Bullet for my Valentine, Roger Sanchez, and the band Lawson.
The company is based at Birmingham Science Park Aston.
